Service Hours

 

Scrip

 

Service hours (50 per year minimum for each family)

Service hours may be earned by helping out with Parents Club fundraisers and activities. You may also earn “hours” by serving the school. The following are just some suggestions to give you an idea of how those hours can be earned. NOTE: There will be a $50/hour fee for each service hour not earned by year end.

A. Parents Club and Other Fundraisers

1. Fatima Celebration -  October

    a. Linguica Booth Sales

    c. Auction (set up, recording, “spotting”)

2. Fashion Show Luncheon -  November

    a. Setting and decorating a table for 8

    b. Working in the kitchen

3. Enchilada Take-out Dinner -  Late January/Early February

    a. Working in the kitchen

    b. Sales

4. Holiday Extravaganza (Reverse Draw/Slient & Live Auction) -  December

    c. Working on the Silent Auction

5. Golf Tournament - April

    a. Setting up sponsorship signs

6. Cattle Auction - March

The annual Scrip assessment of $200.00 per family is due by September 1st

The St. Aloysius Scrip program is an easy way to generate funds for the school. When Scrip (which is essentially gift certificates) is purchased from "Vendor A", a percentage of the money paid to "Vendor A" is donated back to the school. Scrip does not cost any more than using cash would. The donation of money comes from the vendor.

St. Aloysius Scrip's Vendor List includes fast food restaurants, airlines, clothing and department stores, cruise lines, home improvement stores, grocery stores, etc. Basically, all the places we actually shop anyway!
