GET STARTED TODAY!
Scrip forms are available at the school office.
The St. Aloysius Scrip Program offers our organization the opportunity to establish an ongoing means of raising funds without asking supporters to spend any more money than they already do in their daily routine.

What is Scrip? Scrip is actually the same as currency.  In fact, paper money used to be called Scrip. Scrip consists of gift certificates from local and national merchants and is used in their stores just like cash. When the certificates are purchased from St. Aloysius, our school earns a percentage of every purchase made with Scrip. In essence, local and national merchants are rewarding your loyalty by making contributions back to our school!  Now, money that will be spent anyway is generating financial support for our organization's programs, equipment and various building needs.

What is the history of Scrip?  Scrip as a fundraising program got its start here on the West Coast about fifteen years ago. A private high school in California was looking for a way to raise funds. The school was looking at the possibility of being closed, and realized that traditional fundraising methods wouldn't be enough. The school worked out discount arrangements with merchants. The retailers agreed to it because they realized it would bring customers into their stores while simultaneously helping out the school. They raised $30,000 for the school and the school was saved from closing!  Scrip became a fundraising star.

Credit Card Return Policy:
All credit card sales are final. No returns.

When is Scrip Sold? Scrip is sold on Thursdays. Scrip Orders must be turned in with FULL payment by 11:00am on the day Scrip is sold in order for your order to be filled for that week. Scrip can be picked up from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on the day it is sold, or any day thereafter in the school office.

Do I need to pay for my Scrip in advance? Yes.  ALL Scrip orders must be accompanied with full payment.  Due to our computerized Scrip program, reports cannot be run until all payments have been entered. Your order will not be filled without payment.

Why do I need to give a daytime number on my Scrip order?  If you have ordered something in which we are currently out of, you will be contacted to find out if you would like to backorder the item OR choose something else for the same dollar amount.

When do I get an account statement?  We send out statements at the end of October, January and May.  You will be given an itemized statement with a total showing how much profit you have generated.

Can I have more than one grocery store card?  You are allowed four Foods Co. cards and two Save Mart cards per student. You can access the enrollment forms on the Scrip Vendor page or at the school office.

Can friends and family order Scrip from me? YES! Please make sure that, if they do a separate order, they have included your account name and number on their order to make sure you receive the credit. Their order must accompany yours in order to receive credit.

Do I need to order large Scrip orders or holiday gifts in advance?  YES! Large orders of one particular vendor need to be ordered a week in advance. We also recommend that you start purchasing for Christmas in November.  We cannot guarantee that a special order placed the last week of school will be filled. We will update you on ordering deadlines as the holidays approach.
